Kalakit, shrooms are different than DXM. They are alot more intense, depending on your tolerancy and how much you take.
I think you should take and eighth your first time, or 5 grams if youre up for really trippin.
It hits you pretty good if you have an empty stomach, I suggest eating them after a good night sleep and dont eat anything before you eat them. Like 'wake and shroom.'
If you have plans for the day, tripping shrooms will def change them. You usually get a body load, and you might lay down alot, ive taken shrooms and planned to go places, but once you start tripping you just change your whole head-space. Sometimes it can get confusing and overwhelming, especially if alone, but im sure you realize that. If there is anywhere nice outside to go, you should, being outside is nice when tripping.
If you take enough shrooms, youll come out with a completely novel experience, one that will change the way you look at spirituality and people around you.

So, why get nasty about it?
He wasnt being a jerk...... Just set on taking a big dose. Fine. Some people eat 7grams all the time.... and are fine. If he isnt one of those..... oh well, he will find out.
I wouldnt recomend 7grams first time out..
He didnt ask if it was safe, or wise, in fact he said we will probably think he is a idiot....... but in any case, all he wanted to know is how much to take to get fkd out of his skull.....

Yeah making plans on mushies is a mistake,
the only plans you should have :
music,
a place to lay down,
water,
and that's it.
all the plans I've ever made I either am too stupid to figure out how to do them or just don't even want to in the psychedelic mindset.
my dream setting is on a beach or cove or anywhere with a beautiful horizon, a blanket to lay down on, some nice headphones, and that's it.
pretty simple shit.
there's no evil side of DXM, it's completely emotionless.
the dark side of mushrooms is very very scary,
but if you manage to deal with it, the euphoria that can be induced is the best thing there is. but psychedelics are weird, you don't always get the same effects. It varies on how you're taking it all in mentally.
