Just wondering how many other shroomerites there are who enjoy kickin back and puffin on a tasty pipe tobacco?
What kind of pipe do you smoke, and what are your favorite blends?
I'm smoking on a little Peterson myself at the moment, packed with some Wilshire from Tinderbox. One of my very favorites!

There's still the risk of lip or other mouth cancer, but yea, you don't inhale it so there's not the damage to the lungs, and not near as much nicotene enters your blood so the other damage to your heart and such are lowered too. Plus it tastes/smells better too!
You'll have quite a bit of trouble keeping it lit in a glass pipe, unless burnin it up and suckin it down quick is what you'd be aiming for

I'm not really a smoker so a puff or so every once in awhile would keep me going.
I'd want some really powerful tobacco though, so i could catch a buzz off of a hit or 2.

i dont want powerful tobacco. cig prices have skyrocketed so i considered rolling my own cigs but thats way unhealthy. so i decided i want to start smoking a pipe

Cornell & Diehl makes some really good blends, as does Peterson, McClelland, and Samuel Gawith.

i used to.
my parents found my tobacco pipe over the summer (not like i was hiding it... i left it out on the front deck) and they took it and i never saw it again. I figured whatever, I should stop smoking anyway.
When I asked about it a month later, it turns out they thought it was a weed pipe the whole time. I was like "come on, it was wood!!"
and it's not like my parents never smoked in their day either

No good. The great thing about smoking a pipe is you can kick back and relax and enjoy it for a good long while, slowly puffin on it and enjoying the taste. Glass pipes are made for quick smokes. The quicker you smoke the tobacco, the hotter its going to burn, and hot burning tobacco is yuck. To get the most out of it you'll want a briar pipe that you can take your sweet time smoking it in. Or really any kind of pipe that doesn't have a carb, but briar is ideal.

Even with how potent Rustica is?
All i'd need is like maybe 1-2 puffs an hour. I don't really smoke.

Is rolling cigs really more harmful? It doesn't feel like it and the tobacco seems to have less chemicals in it than the pre rolled ones. I don't think rolling tobacco contain saltpeter where as the pre rolled cigs do. I could be wrong though because its very hard to know whats they actually put in it.

Well, nicotine is still poisonous, even without the other stuff, pluss, look at the wiki page. It's a food preservative, fertilizer, and rocket fuel! Just what teacher said was in cigs, seems not harmful if we eat it.
