Agreed. Its joked about even. Its really out of hand. Seems like a big problem, imho, given the inherent threat to our sponsors and their support of this site such discussions have.

Maybe adding a rules post designated as such would help. Even adding "rules" to the rules post's title might make some folk sread it. As it is the prohibition is listed in the second post of a thread whose title has nothing to do with the majority of posters and is probably not read all that often.
