rebound year? Victor and Haftner played like shit last year, as did Fausto Carmona. We added Mark DeRosa and Kerry Wood. Any chance they win the AL Central?

Hafner is cooked. Carmona and V-Mart will rebound, but they won't be as good as they were in 07. They have an outside shot at winning the AL central, but I think that the Twins will take the division.

It will be an interesting year. I think we are a bit thin at SP but if our two youngster Scott Lewis and Anthony Reyes can step it up. Hoping Shin-Soo Choo can have a break out season as well. He was a solid contact hitter as last season progressed

The Central is pretty wide open.
With the exception of teh Royales, I could see any team winning that.

The Cowboys, Indians, and Wolverines? I never get people like you.
And yes, I knew you were an Indians fan, this just reminded me that you have odd team interests.

Even the Royals had a (small) shot at a .500 season this year until they went and made a bunch of horrible moves. Mike Jacobs and Kyle Farnsworth? Just horrific.

Hhaha, some schmuck from ESPN was listing Kyle Farnsworth as one of the reasons the Royals have a shot at the division title.

Juan Cruz is a hell of a lot better than Kyle Farnsworth, but all the overpaid middle relievers in the world won't makes the Royals any good.

Indians, Cavaliers, Browns (AFC) team, Cowboy (NFC), and Wolverines. You'd be surprised how many people from Cleveland are Michigan fans and not Buckeyes. Growing up around Buckeye fans made me despise Ohio State.

I don't think I'd be that surprised, it's no secret we're douchebags.
I guess you're not as bad as the people my age who like the Lakers, Bulls, Yankees, and Cowboys and then act like it's not because that's who was winning when we were growing up.

I wont lie, The reason I became a Cowboys fan was because they were winning when I was first introduced to football as a kid. It's also my dads favorite team. But at least I stick with them

That's why I fell in love with the Bears in part, and then the rest of the Chicago teams. My mom was a bartender, and she would usually take me for MNF as it was more laid back and cozy. These people were all freaking about the Bears and she had a cool friend from Chicago, sooooo.....
If you don't have a family member who is into certain teams, you're going to most likely be attracted to who's hot. It makes sense.
PS I hate the yankees, the lakers, the cowboys AND OSU.

You're also older than I and KP.
I can understand liking a team because they were winning. Shit, I used to like the Vikings because when my brother had Madden '94 or whatever they had a black QB (Warren Moon.) I grew up and realized I didn't have a reason to like them though so I let it go. If it would have developed into a real fandom I would have had no problem admitting why.
I just hate when people act like it has nothing to do with them winning when they were kids.

I really have to watch Major League to get into the baseball mood.

I love that movie, especially seeing the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium. I still find it hard to believe they played professional sports in stadiums such as that.

Ha, Uecker is funny.

It's cool.

Important Cleveland Indians update:
There are no Cleveland players on the current pitpoodles roster. This does not bode well for the Indians' prospects.
Carry on.
