 Penis Envy Grow With Pics

Alright i'm a newbie and 3 weeks ago I inoculated 5 jars containing pf tek BRF substrate, using a penis envy syringe. I've included pics on how they are doing so far. They seem to be all white, no discolorations so I don't think they have any contams.
This pic is of all the jars together...the two on the far left finished today...the two in the middle are coming along good...and the one on the far right seems kinda screwy.

I don't have a bottom shot of this one, but it is kinda like the other two that are coming along just a much bigger circle at the bottom
Since two are finished...can I birth them/do the dunk and roll...or wait a little longer to make sure it fully takes hold? I'm gonna be putting them on the layer of perlite in a plastic storage tub and fan them daily.
Once I get two birthed and do the dunking and rolling, put them in the fruiting chamber....do I just add the other cakes once they are ready as well?
Also note that they are in regular mouth jars...I CANNOT find any wide mouth jars around here...kroger,walmart,food city,and food lion only have regular damnit. I need to find some wide mouth jars cuz i'm about to get 12 jars started with cambodian spores since they colonize much faster than these did.

I'm pretty sure because I remember the case saying regular mouth 1/2 pint jars. I just went ahead and bought them cuz at least they were 1/2 pint and it was all I could find.

If they just finished today, wait a while (few days) to be sure the center of that cakes colonized too. I have never dunked my cakes before the first flush. Only after 2nd and 3rd.

I recommend putting something between the cakes and the perlite, to help prevent contamination. I use small squares of tin foil. Jar tops will rust.

Yup might have some trouble getting the cakes out according to some of the more experienced posters. If they break while coming out how would I crumble them up to make one big cake?

I have never had a cake break. If they are fully colonized, they should strong as a rock.
when ready to birth, turn the jars upside down and bang it once on your thigh (not too hard that it hurts) and the cake should dislodge from the bottom of the jar. Then remove lid and... BIRTHDAY!

Since they are regular mouth jars you WILL have to break them to remove. Your best bet would be to pick up some coir and used coffee grounds, make some bulk sub (coir/verm/coffee/~gypsum~ 1brick/1quart/1quart/1pint is the ratio I use) and pasteurize. Empty jars into clean baggy (use a sterile butter knife to help remove from jar) and break the two at 100% into small pieces.
combine in a tray (bread pans work well for this size) lined with black plastic.
Search for agar's (6T) tek on crumbling cakes-nice pictorial and good results.

Yeah, they shouldn't break easily. If you do want to case them though, break them up as small as you can and put them in a container. Then cover them with a casing layer. There are casing teks all over if you look for them, check the drop down at the top - Mushroom Info.

Let them go for awhile if you can muster the patience. Do you know what knots look like? If I were to re-do my PE cakes, that's what I would do, wait for knots...
Even waiting the full week after 100%, they still took like 3 weeks to pin... Worst part/point being they dried out quite a bit in that time.
So, just a little heads up, PE is slow.
Oh, and they'll start shrinking a bit especially after 100%, and should come it with little effort... you'll be surprised, that shit is not fragile, it really is a 'cake' bro

Good info, they look like they might come out without having to break them though. I'd at least try otherwise do what this guy ^ said.

But, those jars don't have a 'shoulder' on them... IE, they're not tapered, so it should be fine.

That is exactly what I thought too- actually I thought they looked like wide mouth pint jars. Just going off of experience with regular mouth pints, they were a bitch and a half to get out.

Voodoo I appreciate your input it helped me out pretty good..I like the tin foil suggestion...Gotta ask though, why do you dunk after the first flush? I'm sure there is a good reason behind that.

Dunk to re-hydrate cakes. More water in cake=more/bigger shrooms on cake

Hopefully I can get them out without them breaking, It doesn't have anything retarded on the inside that might make it difficult but I do not know this is my first time. If I have to break them I shall do as fitdriver advised.
I don't know much about casing so I guess i'll spend some time looking into that as well.
Redbeerd,  holy shit 3 weeks to pin? DAMNIT I should have done my research before picking the slowest mushroom strain. Good thing I bought cambodian spores but thats still another grow not started yet.

In my experience PE takes a good while to fruit. My PE tubs take 7-10 days in good conditions to pin then the fruits take about a week to mature.

It's cool man... Your mileage will vary too, but PE's worth it. IME they ARE more potent... and they're really cool looking, very unlike other cubes...
 I suppose from that pic you can't really tell, but those have no veil.. and they looked like that without bruising or really getting much bigger even for like a week.... I even put them on the coffee table for a couple days
