I know you dunk between flushes, but do you roll in between all flushes, or just before the first? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you only roll once, but wait for someone else to verify.

i dont see why you wouldn't roll between flushes.
The point of a dunk and roll is for the cake to retain moisture. Verm helps retain moisture.
Dunk and roll why not. it's a simple easy step. and verm is pretty much contam free.

He's absolutely right.
Why would you put more verm on? Its only purpose is to provide a moist layer to induce pins to form.
Dunking between flushes not only rehydrates cakes but also re-wets that vermiculite, so you're all ready to go.

It's been explained dozens of times why not to roll between flushes. Contaminant spores are naturally going to land on the cake during a flush, where they sit harmlessly, unable to germinate on the fully colonized substrate. If you roll after a flush, the fresh layer of verm protects those contaminant spores and allows them to germinate, contaminating your cakes. As said several times above, only roll after the initial pre-first flush dunk. RR
