Adderall shakeys
|
I'm currently taking adderal (prescribed) so that I can study for my finals. Problem is that 20mg of XR makes my incredibly shakey... And I have to finish my drawing portfolio.
Just wondering if anyone knew anything I could do to prevent being so damn shakey? Lowering the dosage, sure, but all I have are 20s and you can't split capsules as easily as pressed pills.
Think a small dose of klonopin might work? Bad idea?

A friend of mine had the great idea to snort it once while coming down from a 2c-i trip. I felt so fucking dirty after that. I broke one of my most important drug rules: never snort anything. It did make the trip pretty interesting though.

Those 20XRs aren't hard to break up. Just open the capsule and dump out half the little balls into a bowl.
Also, for future reference, tell your psychiatrist or w/e that it's making you shaky. Dexedrine is a more pure form of adderall that never gives me the shakiness that adderall does.

Does dexedrine make you sweat a lot? Thats another side effect that I have from adderall.

Yeah, I think that just comes from the elevated heart rate.
I notice on adderall I grind my teeth and smoke cigs like a fiend, with Dexedrine not so much. It's like adderall without the 'edge'.

I'm just wondering, what symptoms would prompt a psych to prescribe Adderall/Dexedrine? Just fatigue, inability to focus? Any others?

ADD, maybe ADHD? Off-label uses as well (for BS reasons or maybe something like weight).

I'm prescribed adderall 30mg and they make me shake i just take a benzo of sum kind xans,vals,kpins and that works but its no healthy too ride the roller coaster(taking uppers and downers)but i think if you dont do too much its OK hasn't failed me yet.

Well, they usually prescribe adderall for ADHD, but it is also used for people who are morbidly obesese for weight loss. Also for people who have narcolepsy (don't think you could fake that). I think they also prescribe it for people who have chronic fatigue syndrome.
I got it because I was evaluated by a psychiatrist. And by evaluated I mean a 6 hour long $1000 test. And they can usually tell if you're faking it. If you're a good actor it's worth a try, I guess.
To tell you the truth, I fucking hate adderall. It makes me sweat like a fiend, like hands so sweaty it's hard to hold a pencil in class. Tried reducing dosage, didn't help. It also makes me edgy and nervous. And the crash sucks ass. I hate people and people hate me when adderall wears off. And the shakeys, that sucks, trying to give your credit card or cash to someone and looking like a crack head. It's really not the right drug for me, but it's all I have right now for concentration. I'm going to check into dexedrine.
And if any of you hippies are thinking about feeding me that "ADHD is bullshit, it's mind of matter, mannnn".... You can shut up before you start.

try magnesium. magnesium helps with relaxing the muscles... good for grinding jaws etc... vitamin B6 should be good too. good luck.

with no tolerance, 15mgs adderall xr was too much for me to take for therapeutic purposes
try 10 mgs then 15 when that stops working for the adhd
its also a good remedy for weed burnout
btw xrs are horrible to snort anyway, i did a couple of times and i ended up with a sore throat and post nasal drip that lasted over a week, instead powder and mix it with a drink if u want instant release
dont snort pills ppl!
seriously though... thc is the best med of all!
