Ok, I know this a long shot but I'm in Thailand at the moment and am getting very excited about the upcoming (24th March!) Full Moon party on Koh Phan Ngan and was wondering if any people here would be attending or have any anecdotes to get me even more excited?

For those who don't know the party happens every full moon and has been described as "a ravers mecca" and "apocolypse now, without the war"; whatever that means. It's basically a big ass party on the southern end of a Thai island that is supposed to be wild. It's biggest around new year and christmas but still attracts at least a few thousand willing party goers every month. My friends are there at the moment and from their descriptions of the pre party parties the actual event is going to be ace. Hopefully some beans will find their way to me.. gotta worry about the thai police though, don't fancy ending up in the infamous thai prisons. Apparently weed cakes and mushroom milkshakes are sold over the counter in some shops... getting more excited about this everyday!

On a side note, any other people out there travelling around thailand, malaysia, cambodia, laos or vietnam? post or pm me if you are and we can share experiences and recomendations.
