St. Cloud police drug and gang officers have arrested six people and expect more arrests involving sales of marijuana and cocaine on and off the campuses of St. Cloud State University and St. Cloud Technical College.

The arrests began Monday after the execution of three search warrants, two of which were served in Sherburne Hall on the St. Cloud State campus, said Sgt. Tom Gjemse. The investigation involved students from both schools selling controlled substances, he said.

Another search warrant was executed at an apartment at 1010 Sixth Ave. S, Gjemse said.

Arrested during the investigation, according to police, were Craig Richard Loechler, 19, Nicholas Robert Kelley, 18, Brennan John Mcgovern, 19, Alex Daniel Schisel, 19, David Arthur Johnson, 20 and Mark David Reif, 21.

Reif, Schisel and Kelley likely face fifth-degree sale of a controlled substance charges. Mcgovern faces possible second-degree sale of a controlled substance charges, and Loechler faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Police didn’t mention possible charges against Johnson.
