PVC for greenhouse

I'm planning on making some hoop greenhouses with pvc and plastic, and I was wondering if I should use the 3/4" pvc or 1" pvc for the ribs?

Any help is much appreciated!

Hey, i work alot with pvc (commercial sparky) and you will probably find some issues with bending the pvc without getting a kink (depending on the angle), you can buy bending springs but they are usually only a few feet at longest. Try first with a few lengths before you commit your money to something that doesnt work.

I have seen commercial tunnel greenhouses before and they used steel rods about 3m long, 20mm^2.

Good luck

I am planning on connecting two 10' pieces of pvc for each rib, but I'm not sure if these will bend ok.

Does anyone know if 20' of pvc will bend enough if it is 1" in diameter?

Thanks for the replies!
