I got a letter back today from the PA rep Bill Shuster. It says...

Thank you for contacting me regarding H.R. 5843, the Act to Remove Federal Penalties for the Personal Use of Marijuana by Responsible Adults. I appreciate hearing from you and having the benefit of your views.

As you may know, H.R. 5843 would remove most federal penalties for the posession of marijuana for personal use. It would also remove criminal penalties for the non-for-profit transfer of marijuana for personal use. H.R 5843 has been referred to the House Committees on Enerfy and Commerce and on the Judiciary. Please be assured I will keep your reviews in mind should this legislation come before me for a vote in the full House of Representatives.
