Why do people keep translating this guys situation with a simple paranoia of other knowing if you are high or not?

This is not the case. Its a psychological disorder. He simply gets less confident while high, and people subconsciously read this energy and react to it.

This is a classic case, it has happened to me as a teenager. You talk and people kinda dont response as they do when sober, you kinda get ignored. Why? You speak with less confidence, very self consciously, and people react to this.

The same way a dog knows when you are afraid or confident, this is a common piece of knowledge everyone says about dogs. Well this works as well with humans, we are also animals, we react off of eachothers internal energy.

In dog lingo, when you (the author of this post) are high you become more submisive. The dogs in the pack (your friends) subconsciously sense this and react accordingly.
