"Personal note: Drug related crime is a huge issue. If a drug dealer gets ripped off by a customer or other drug dealer, this creates a potentially violent or deadly scenario. By taking away the incentive to illegally sell marijuana, and getting it out of the black market, we can put a big dent in violent crime.

PS: I believe marijuana is no more dangerous than your average perscription painkiller. There is no way to overdose on it either. If possible I'd like to see some new, modern tests done on THC's effects on the human body. It is responsible to make a decision regarding marijuana's legal status based on factual evidence. Right now there isn't enough reliable evidence from reliable studies to make any law about the legality of marijuana."
