Hello everybody! Pretty soon, I will be starting my first grow using the PF tek, following the Lets Grow Mushrooms! videos step by step.

One thing I'm concerned about is my source of light during fruiting. While fruiting, they will be kept in a storage room on the top floor of my house. The light source is a small window in the room (it gets about 12 hours of dim light per day,) but the window is located right next to where my terrarium will be kept. Basically, most of the light will be hitting the terrarium directly from the side. Should I expect all my mushrooms to grow sideways? Are there any negative side effects to this? There will be some light that I'm sure will flood to the top of the cake, but the source comes in directly from the side.
