im in need of some outside opinions and talent evaluation. just tell me who you have a good feeling about or vise versa

c- kenji johjima 52 R, 14 HR, 61 RBI, 0 SB, .287 BA
1b- garrett atkins 83 R, 25 HR, 111 RBI, 3 SB, .301 BA
2b- chase utley 104 R, 22 HR, 103 RBI, 9 SB, .332 BA
3b- aramis ramirez 72 R, 26 HR, 101 RBI, 0 SB, .310 BA
ss- michael young 80 R, 9 HR, 94 RBI, 13 SB, .315 BA
of- carl crawford 93 R, 11 HR, 80 RBI, 50 SB, .315 BA
corey hart 86 R, 24 HR, 81 RBI, 23 SB, .295 BA
hideki matsui 100 R, 25 HR, 103 RBI, 4 SB, .285 BA

bn- mark ellis, edwin encarnacion, garrett anderson

SP- erik bedard 182 IP, 13 W, 221K, 3.16 ERA
aj burnett 165 IP, 10 W, 176K, 3.75 ERA
jeff francis 215 IP, 17 W, 165K, 4.22 ERA
dustin mcgowan 169 IP, 12 W, 144K, 4.08 ERA
derek lowe 199 IP, 12 W, 147K, 3.88 ERA
mark buehrle 201 IP, 10 W, 115K, 3.63 ERA
hiroki kuroda rookie from japan with the dodgers

RP- joe nathan 4 W, 37 SV, 77K, 1.88 ERA
heath bell 6 W, 2 SV, 102 K, 2.02 ERA

I feel pretty confident with my offense although it lacks HR power and a little light in the SB.

Pitching im pulling my hairs out I dont like having 2 pitchers from toronto and i think i might get rid of mcgowan. im also not too sure about heath bell as a RP. Orlando Hernedez is an available free agent as is Glavin and Randy Johnson ive tossed the dice on bringing one of them in, especially since they are NL pitchers.

I think Atkins is in for a monster year.

And I really like Utley a lot.

I've heard the big unit is feeling good and as fussy as ever, my friend in Az claims that they're expecting good things from him this year.

Looks good to me.

Of course I'm a Cubs/Rockies fan, so I'm ever optimistic.

Yeah, nothing quite like being a Cubs fan in March & April.

You had nerve picking Aramis.

Im not familiar with most of your players but I do know the Toronto pitchers. McGowan is either going to have a breakout year, or drop right off the table, and if AJ can stay healthy he will be a beast this season.

At least thats my opinion.

do not go for el duque. he gets injured too much and if mike pelfrey can actually make it past the 3rd inning this year he will take over his spot in the rotation.

I'm no expert.. but I love me some baseball. But I don't know names enough to make up a fantasy team and stick with it. I'm a Jays fan.. I'd like to agree with Yarry, on both accounts to McGowen and AJ.. but for the love of.. baseball.. LET BJ RYAN BE HEALTHY COME THE OPENER!!!!

would make the season for me

Out of all the amazing infielders from the Rockies, and you pick Atkins? He's good, but I mean... come on

You have zero understanding of fantasy baseball. Atkins is the only player worth having

You're right, I have absolutely no understanding of fantasy baseball.

But would it hurt you to not be an asshole for at least one of your posts? Maybe try to explain something instead of being condescending?

He was obviously talking about a fantasy team. Why you felt you had to chirp up is mysterious

well, it seemed logical to me that you would like the best players on your team.

And, your streak continues. And since I don't expect it to end anytime soon I'm going to step out of this thread now. Thanks for the friendly discussion

Just out of curiosity name one player on his team that would be improved by having a Rockie. Thank you, shut the fuck up.

well, since I admittedly know nothing about fantasy-land that's an unfair question. However, assuming real baseball I suppose I could make some suggestions.

If he's looking for some improvement to his infield defense then Troy Tulowitzki would be the best choice. note: not the best choice on the rockies, the best choice in all of MLB.
Tulo led all major league shortstops in fielding percentage (.987), Chances (834), assists, AND only made 11 errors all season.
In addition, he hit the second most homeruns of any Rookie shortstop in history with 24. He hit 99RBI's and 104 runs scored in only 155 games.

Or Matt Holiday, Runner-Up National League MVP.

Oh whoops, I named two. Now shut the fuck up.

My point wasn't whether or not the Rockies...Whatever. I was just saying Atkins is not the best player by any measure.

Get over yourself.
