 Tacos.

I know its not my turn but I want people to try this because Tacos are sooo easy and cheep to make. Plus they taste sooo good they make me dreul.
4 tomatoes
1 onion
1 bunch cilantro
1lb meat
hot sauce
salt/pepper/lemon juice.
Cut up the vegetables and split into half.
Put half into a blender with the salt, pepper and lemon juice, add some hot sauce and blend.
Take the other half and chop into a chunky salsa, stir together and let sit.
Season the meat and saute it on HIGH. Get a nice crisp to the meat and season again.
Take corn tortillas and heat them in a pan then remove and place into some foil. The heat will make steam and the steam will make the tortillas tasty and workable.
Now youve got sauce, salsa, seasoned meat and tortillas.
Put together yout tacos, top with the good stuff you just made. I usualy get enough out of this to make a few for work the next day. All for about $5. Beans and rice are optional.
Or make Nachos. Add chips, sour cream and cheese.

I make them about three or four nights a week.
I just make a big batch of sauce and salsa and buy a bunch of meat on sale (top sirloin $1.99lb = Key) which lasts about 4 days.
I cut up the meat and let it marinate and fry it up when I need it. It just gets better as the days go by till its all gone. Only takes 10 minutes tops to make.
You can use any type of meat too. Pork is often pretty cheep.

Nice 
I finally mastered the art of Carne Asada this last week. For the longest time it just wasn't comin' out as I'd hoped.. not nearly as flavorful as those road-side stands in Mexico.. and I figured out that it indeed wasn't the fact that the meat was probably sittin' in the sun all day, but all in the seasoning and cooking technique. A thread will arrive soon on my venture.
Thanks for sharing your tacos - they look delish!
Nifty blender you got there too.. with the spigot and all

I grew up thinking that Tacos were just hard shell and ground beef with whatever you want on them..
