Man is timid and apologetic; he is no longer upright; he dares not say 'I think,' 'I am,' but quotes some saint or sage. He is ashamed before the blade of grass or the blowing rose.Man postpones or remembers; he does not live in the present, but with reverted eye laments the past, or, heedless of the riches that surround him, stands on tiptoe to foresee the future. He cannot be happy and strong until he too lives with nature in the present, above time

they arent all hoaxes. and what about the analysis? that's pretty intricate detail for an over night art students idea.

How these are made, yes, even the complex ones made in one night has been discussed and elaborated on here many times.
There are videos and diagrams and eyewitness accounts.

i love how b/c someone can replicate something complex it discredits all crop circles. It's one thing to be a skeptic, another to be naive.i dont believe humans are responsible for everything abnormal that happens. nor do i believe all crop circles are made by visitors.

Nice strawman.
No one said that discredits all crop circles. It does demonstrate that all crop circles ever found could have been made via ordinary mean.
Whether or not humans are responsible for everything abnormal has no bearing on whether crop circles are of a particular origin.

i believe implied that when i said that they werent all made by aliens. And i could just as easily say what you said replacing ordinary means, with highly advanced machinery. That doesnt make it more true.

well I must have misunderstood then on the first point
as to the uncertainty, that's kind of the point I'm advancing. Because there seems to be no technological limitation presented to those who might be interested in making the circles, it seems hard to conclude that they didn't amke any single one.
And in absence of other compelling evidence, you just kinda gotta take the phenomena on faith alone. Unless I'm missin some facts here.

Watch the skies.
I saw this on my local tv news, great story.
I don't know why, but that design has me captivated.
Great info.

The thesis that I want to advance today is that the drug war and the laws that prohibit the private consumption of certain drugs are unconstitutional. Prohibition laws, themselves, violate every tenet of limited government that is embodied in our Constitution.

We're on different sides of this particular debate, but Drake's Equation and the Fermi Paradox are favorite topics of mine as well.
You should take a look at this thread about said topic from quite awhile ago and add some further input.

thanx. My input on this is wormholes. And i believe that et's are watching and always have been. they only get involved when it's necessary, or some astrological event is taking place. We're just not ready to accept them.

> But why do they screw w/ the crops?
Because they want to let people know that they are here, but are powerless to do so because of the government. Crop circles are the only way they have left to convince people that they (ETs) really exist.
> i love how b/c someone can replicate something complex it discredits all crop circles.
The pro-ET crowd loves to use ockham's razor, so apply it here... which is the simpler answer: crop circles are made by people, as has been demonstrated many times or crop circles are made by space aliens that travel billions of miles to desecrate some poor farmers field and eat a few cow lips.

traveling billions of miles isnt a problem if you can do it like an hour or something. And how else could they possibly convey a message without directly making contact with hostile beings?
