I get this after a long wait:

Then, it invariably loads right away when I try again.

i've had serious lag the last few days, esp. right now, and have received a few errors, but didn't think to copy any of them

I'm not sure why it's doing that but I tried repairing the indexes on the users table so maybe it will work better. If you still run into problems please let me know.

And I'm not getting the error anymore, but every fourth or fifth page I visit on the site loads extremely slow.

i haven't seen any errors, but i'm having to close my browser and restart it (even clearing the cache doesn't work) every few minutes because it hangs, faster than it was earlier in the week, but still slow compared to normal
