Using mushrooms during or before a water fast

I'm planning on doing a 10-day water fast (consuming only water for 10 days) to cleanse my body and I was wondering if I can use cubensis mushrooms to help with it.
The point of the fast is that the body will start to eliminate toxins and cancer cells when digestion is stopped. The body also resets the metabolism to utilize food more efficiently, the immune system is boosted, DNA proteins are synthesized with less errors, many ongoing health conditions (eczema) are eliminated, and so on.
Going without food can be so difficult, but whenever I take mushrooms, I lose all desire for food for a good 6-8 hours and then have little desire for food for like 16-24 hours after consumption of the mushrooms. I'm wondering if I can use the mushrooms to make the water fast less difficult, either by taking them the night before the fast starts or throughout the fast every few days. Has anyone ever done this?
It may kind of defeat the purpose of the fast (removing toxins) by consuming a drug, but I'm wondering if eating just a few mushrooms would introduce any significant amount of toxins into the body - it's not like I grew them with pesticides or fertilizers. I can't imagine it would take long to digest the mushrooms either; especially if I made a tea out of them. That way my digestive system would be active for only an hour or two.
Well, let me know if anyone has any experience with this.
