This has been causing me much stress, the gf says that it's alright, but it has been taking a toll on my well being.

There are a lot of solutions to this problem... It happens to many, many men. The numbing cream can be a good option, but it can have an adverse affect of slowing down your girl's response, which can really suck. Your girl can be the solution to the problem. Try spending more time in foreplay, sucking and stroking and such, teasing you and not letting you achieve climax until it is the right time.

I recommend that you learn to control your PC muscles. Here's a decent site with exercises and information about PC control:

Also, familiarize yourself with your ejaculatory response (sometimes known as the "point of no return") during masturbation. If you can train yourself to relax and breathe deeply when you sense the point of no return is approaching, you can delay ejaculation.

i agree with everything that you guys have said, and would like to add one thing.
i know sex isnt planned usually in advance but prior to fucking you should go squeeze one off so you can last longer. this is the method i use anyways...

Try focusing on the idea that you are equal with the person you are having sex with...equal in all respects, in resepcts to what you have to offer each other.
Actually the main reason why we as men cum so quickly has alot to do with how we relate to women, in any respect...ie.
Women are thought of to be the givers when it comes to sex..and although it may seem to be true, because you see it all around you, on TV and in porno's, let it be know that it simply has to do with the way you think about women.
Generally women in our culture are thought of to be the ones who offer sex; this is the main reason a girl is known as a slut and thus seems like a slut when she has sex with alot of guys, whereas guys are looked at as players...something with a more positive approval than slut.
Thats how i stopped coming to quickly. The PC thing doesnt work and only goes so far, the real solution lies in excitement and the degree to that excitement. Ie. If you notice that the person who is supposedly giving you sex, is getting excited to you notice that you are actaully giving her what she gives you and thus excites you beyond the point that you seek to be excited, and ejaculate to soon. Girls have a hard time because of this as well, since they want to orgasm yet they know that they are giving you sex, they dont become very excited easily...its all about what you know, basically.

...for you. I agree that the sexual experience occurs more between the ears than between the legs, but this does not mean that physical conditioning is worthless. It may be that you did not practice kegels long enough to notice a difference, or that you were not properly isolating your PC muscles. Either way, telling someone that developing greater PC strength and control "doesn't work" is putting forth your opinion as fact.

I thought i had a problem back in the day. I understand the stress and embarrassment.
Then one day I foudn out that some guys were way worse off than me, like coming just from getting their penis touched or literally two pumps.
Are you completely spent after your first go round? my only saving grace at the time was that I can go as many times as needed really. so my advice is to try and give yourself 5 minutes in between and spend that time going down and doing general foreplay.
I never understood this "come and done" mentality. after getting more confidence in my stamina, i started getting more primary stamina.
another trick is that I find I cant come if I have to urinate. Usually my morning sex is under 5 minutes, but if I dont go pee, I basically cant come, but have that morning wood that is harder than chinese arithmatic.

The OP had multiple methods listed with pages of information. I'll run a search tomorrow (bout to go to bed) and see if i can find it, i'm sure it could help out this original poster
