I think I may be bipolar.

I am in the depths of hell right now. I am at work by myself and feel like complete shit... Nothing has really happened in the very recent past to make me feel this...

The only thing keeping me going is (hoping) that it will pass.

The only entity I can turn to is this semi-anonymous forum.

I want to go to sleep.

this is probably unrelated.. but when I woke up this morning I felt extremely dizzy.

I couldn't keep my eyes open, much less think about standing up for 30 minutes or so. And throughout the day I've started having these dizzy spells. I just almost fell over in the bathroom a second ago.

What the fuck?

Hey...I just recently escaped from hell myself so I hear you. :frown: If it helps turning to the shroomery-entity then keep doing it! There's many of us here who are dealing with similar issues, at the moment.

I suggest you scream as loud as you can. Muffle it in a pillow if you have to. It sounds silly, but it may help...

Also, do a life evaluation. There may be something you are missing that is making you miserable. Something tiny, something huge, it doesn't matter. Your brain is trying to tell you something by making you feel this shitty, yes?

If you feel comfortable detailing...what's going on in your life right now? Let it spill...we'll listen. :heart:

In my case, there wasn't an APPARENT reason for me to be so low. But I just quit my job, and suddenly (with the help of many people here) I feel much better. I'm not suggesting you do the same, but it really is amazing what a simple life change can do.

One thing that made a lot of sense to me... "Don't think, just do," and "if you're trying, you're not doing." I waste a lot of time thinking and not much time doing the things I love. What about you?

Anyway, just wanted you to know that I hear you. And we're here to listen if you want to spill. :hug:

I love you elle. You are too damn nice. Yes I feel like shit, but I don't really care enough to do anything to make it better. The only thing I feel I want is another human who gives two shits. Someone who knows me and someone I can love.

Right now there is no one.

And in my current situation, thats not going to be changing any time soon.

I just want to vent. I want to break something. I really want to know someone.

Vent away, I will listen. I was in the same spot a few days ago...I wanted relief from my despair but I just couldn't muster enough energy to care. Well, don't push yourself, you don't have to care about feeling better right now. I would instead focus on letting it all out, like a good old fashioned mental vomit. Sounds like you're feeling isolated as well...please know that I may be thousands of miles (maybe I don't know where you live) away, but I am ready to hear you. Whatever you want to say or vent about, go for it. It may help relieve some of that pressure you have holding you down. :hug:

If not, that's alright too...but I do want you to know that there is a person on the other end of this computer and that I CARE ABOUT YOU. We all need to be here for one another in this world. :heart:

heh I actually may be alot closer then you think. But anyway, this is all becoming really sappy... Thanks for the kind words, I'm going to finish up my work so I can get home to do the same thing tomorrow.

I know how it is to be in that situation. The sucky part is that getting out of it takes something extraordinary from you when you feel like you can't acheive anything.

I find that the problem for myself, when I get into such slumps, is the lack of balance. You can't just go up to someone when you feel like that and make a good impression. It's too hard to relate to most people. It's a conondrum when you're stuck, knowing that you need to burst out of your bubble to feel good enough to make something for yourself, but you feel like you need to make something to burst out. How do you get there?

I feel like there's no secret to the solution. It takes something from you. You need to care enough to prove to yourself that you can still care. It might take a while, but you should start looking for answers. You know what you want and you probably know what you need to do to acheive it.

I find that the best way to solve such a problem is to exercise. I know it seems unimportant, but the balance acheived from intense physical activity will carry over to the times when your emotions are on the line. I was watching a show yesterday about shaolin monks and I could totally relate to their philosophy. It takes harmony of the body to create harmony in your mind. The exercise they do is part of a bigger whole. It's not about being super muscle man. It's about using your whole self to accomplish intense energy. You would be so suprised how good you'll feel when you break into a good exercise routine and realize that you feel confident in your actions. It changes everything. You begin to sleep and eat right. You can keep your metabolism and energy levels up all day. The problem is no longer whether you can or can't do things; only whether or not you choose to do them. It's a whole other world.

Buy some protein powder and drink a shake and eat an orange every morning before warming up + running + stretching. That will help your circlulation like nothing else. You should also work out a few times a week, or however often you can. I do every day, but I understand that some just can't fit that in. I suggest big lifts that will actually increase your full body strength. Squats, Deadlift, Overhead Press, Pushups - Bench, Pullups, Chinups, Barbell Curls. All of these exercises are very demanding and can be done with great intensity if you learn how to breath correctly. That's the key that I find most important in everything. Your breath controls your energy, no matter if you haven't done anything all day or you feel dirty tired. You could still keep going if you know how to breath. The question is, how will you go about your business? The difference between what you probably do and what you would do if you were physically fit is great.

I think you might have a problem with your circulation if you're getting dizzy when waking up and losing your balance. Don't feel like a loser. Everyone struggles with this stuff. Some are better at coping with it than others. I understand the feeling of helplessness when you're so weak that you have to go way out of control or way too in control with everything that you do. You drive yourself mad because nothing flows right and no progress is made in your emotional state.

I'm telling you this for certain. You need to learn how to relax. The only way that I've ever been successful in living a happy life is to be passionate about my endeavours. The only way that I can do that is by exercising regularly. You need to build up your body's strength from the inside out so that, when you're just doing your thing, you can keep going. Losing focus is a direct side effect of poor circulation and poor posture. It's really that simple. It's not so simple to acheive these things, though. It's even harder when you don't have anyone who's showing you love. Finding a connection with someone and experiencing moments of happiness are totally vital to keep yourself alive for most people. You can always get by, but getting by isn't really good enough. You need to find the energy you've lost so that you can stop thinking so much about useless stuff and have some moments of clarity.

have you seen a doctor aobut this. im usually notr a fan of them but the wakign up dissy and feelings of depression could be related to some underlying physical problems in your body.

how often do you use drugs, drink etc?
