 2 Small?

I have this birdseed caseing ( 2 pints cased with 1/2 " coco ),the first flush all i get is measly 2-4cm shrooms with caps like a penny and the stem no thicker then a pencil?
wtf am i doing wrong?
i got other larger caseing waiting ill see whats up with them
im useing coolmist on/off 30:30min

it was very think, the caseing was a little skuare probally the size of a cd case was the suface, and it was about a cd case deep also
i got another caseing pinning nicely, very even flush
mabye i will get some pics

Yes, my friend has been trying birdseed lately and he has gotten very small fruits. It would literally take 10-15 of these to equal one of the massive fruits that he has gotten from DB compost. I was also wondering if he is doing something wrong or if that is normal?
