Two of my high school friends are starters/closers for two different teams in the Major Leagues. I throughout high school was suppose to be the one playing Division I in college, and then possibly move on from there. Now these guys are playing, and I'm not. Has anybody else experienced anything like this?? I threw it away when I started partying. Do I regret it?? No, but does it make me feel kind of like a let down?? Yes. It really sucks now that I'm older, and see that I have a looooong time to part, but only a few years to make something of myself. I mean I have great job, and am very good at what I do and enjoy it. Sometimes it just sucks. I had to grow up faster than I really had to. Just something to think about for you younger folks here.
