 Shrooms in the UK

Hi,
I'm pretty new to the whole shroom experience and am still looking for my first trip.
I'm basically wanting to know from the UK shroomites how hard they find sourcing shrooms? I've been asking about the past few months with no such luck so far... am i alone in the search for shrooms in the UK or is anyone else having the same problems?

I recommend you do some research into Psilocybe semilanceata (Liberty Caps). They are a common mushroom within the UK around October and grow naturally within sheep pastures.

if you're talking about dellers then its just luck and if you know somone who grows/gets imported.
last year there were tons going round where i live, this year NOTHING. and trust me i know plenty of people who would know if they were around.
libs start popping up about september, but you'd need to know field locations and/or spend hours searching.
your best bet would be to just grow them yourself.

yah mon.. no one really commercially grows.. its just not worth it.
We have a flourishing research chemical scene though.. its not hard to get what you're looking for if you hit up a free party or 2 (shit you'll probably even find some mushrooms at such an event).

Yeah i've never seen nor heard of a dealer who offers 'shrooms, though i'm not exactly that well connected so maybe i just live in a bubble or something. I've never seen anything of the flourishing RC scene though (darnit!) either so I probably do live in a bubble!

Yeah really cant find anyone whose selling them or any locations to find them. Growing them myself seems abit advanced atm for myself and im gna have to sink some time into researching that at some point and give it a go.
Thinking my best bet atm will be the Leeds Festival in late August, im hoping that the new season might.. be in by then. However last year there wasnt really anyone selling shrooms there, although admittedly i didnt put much time into looking for them then.
Any further advice would be appreciated.

So you're in the middle eh.. Why not take a trip down to the peak district in the autumn?

i've always wondered about the buy from abroad thing, didn't think they'd get through the postal service in the UK or i'd get busted or something. I'd love to try picking them but would be majorly scared of eating something a bit too poisonous! Any FOAFs out there with experience?

I expect they would most likely get through OK, when you consider the amount of packages theres not much chance of them opening yours or getting you done for it...
For picking you really need a location. If you just go and look randomly, you will find nothing. I've spent a long long time hunting randomly (8+ years/8weeks per year!) and never found a lib cap. I've asked for help from local old hippies etc and struck gold within hours though! I've found you need to know the spots.

Yeah im pretty scared of picking the wrong shroom and to be honest i dont think id have much luck finding them anyway.
I guess ill just have to keep on searching.
