OCD?

i had to post this because it caught me off guard a bit. im about to go to sleep and i was setting my alarm. my alarm wake up time has an hours and minutes button that only go forward. i was setting it for 6:15 and went over to 6:16, without thinking i instantly started going through the minutes. then i stopped after about 30 clicks and thought...seriously, what is one minute.
i have the same issue with the shared desk i work at (three shifts). if people leave papers on it and im not told what they are, i shred them. anyone leaves any personal crap i usually trash it (within reason). i dont do it just to be an ass, but not being organized really bothers me. everything has its designated spot, so why mess that up is my thought process. my room can be a little scattered, but never messy. rest of the house must be clean and orderly.
i think i might be borderline ocd

a "junk" drawer or tub is my one true release. anything that has no spot can go in that sucker.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity. ~ Albert Einstein

a lot of the time I will "have to" set my alarm on a multiple of five, like 6:15, 6:30, 6:35 etc. but thats it really. my room has like a few dozen empty beer bottles strewn about on windowsills and such. I usually go through once or twice a month and load up a trash bag though. never remember to bring them downstairs.

I do the same thing, I have an original intention, and if I pass that, it must be fixed.

That's not OCD, that's being anal.
Come back when you start washing your hands 200 times a day and start locking and unlocking your door until you feel satisfied enough to leave your house.
Or when you notice you have to start arranging every food item on your plate by size, color, and smell before you can even think about eating.
Read up on Howard Hughes. That's a great example of what OCD is really like.
