Tripping in the rain is one of the most beautiful things you can experience. I highly recommend it. Mine was a solo trip though, I don't know if your buds would be up for it.
Best bet is probably wait for better weather, but keep raintrips in mind for the future for sure.

Even now, if I see in my soul the citron-breasted fair one,
Still gold-tinted, her face like our night stars,
Drawing unto her; her body beaten about the flame,
Wounded by the flaring spear of love,
My first of all reason of her fresh years,
Then is my heart buried alive in snow.

I ate a couple of really strong hits of acid in a BADASS thunderstorm last year. It was one of the strongest storms I've seen in YEARS. We were mostly out romping through this field, and eventually had to turn back.
Water got up to my lower thigh, and I'm over 6 feet tall. The only way we could tell we were still on a path was because the water was rushing faster where the grass had been tramped down. It was pretty fucking intense. When we got back to my car there was a park ranger waiting in the lot asking us if we needed help.
We were like, "No, we're just crazies."

i thought it was gonna be a huge storm, last night at 4 AM in the morning it was the calm before, and there was just wind blowing everywhere, I could have sworn it would be big, now it's just gay grey damp weather lol, cold too. I don't mind getting wet at all but i dunno, maybe save it for another day. I dunno if the being soaked asset would be enjoyed or bother me. I do have a business final tomorrow that i should study for lol, but i know im getting a B in the class either way. What to do... what to do..

I was thinking about going to NYC on the train after eating them at the station, did that once in august last year on a beautiful night, trippin balls in fuckin time square was nuts, the weather is still annoying though, cold and damp. If there was a huge dry area in new york i'd totally go with it. Maybe some legit lazer tag would be in order hahahahha

You guys could build some kind of roof and trip in the woods while it's raining. The sound of the rain hitting the roof and of the nature shifting everywhere around you would be really interesting in my opinion.
It'd get boring after a while though...
