I seriously just found it crawling on my couch. I put it in a ceramic bowl and took a macro pic of it for proper ID.

Holy shit, that thing's huge! Its arms look like they're covered in tiny spikes. Is it fast? If it was, I'd probably put on boots and storm it.

Exactly what I was thinking, wolf spider. We used to find those things about half the size of my hand.
They're big and poisonous, but not usually too aggressive. Try to trap him in a cup or a bucket and release him outside.
If that fails, get your gun.

Some kind of hunting spider. Not a wolf spider. Not a web builder, really.
It looks similar to a lot of jumping spiders I see in my garden around here.
