 Cops outside my house

I went outside to see what they were up to, and found them sitting with a dog who'd been hit by a car, waiting for the animal shelter workers to arrive. It's a miserable night, too - sheet rain, cold winds, low visibility, and it's one in the God damn morning. Cops aren't all bad I guess! (Though you might argue that two police cars for one dog is a bit unnecessary  )
Now to tend to some illegal activities

Ive met a lot of cool police officers, its just like any profession; some will be pricks and abuse their position, but most are just working to pay bills like everyone else.
Ive never had a problem with drugs and police.

All the drug officers I met (read: got busted) were cool.
Don't be mistaken, they will charge you, but they're friendly and straight up... if I know I'm going to get caught for something (say a search warrant) I'm straight up with them.
My house searches last approx 5 minutes, I just tell them where the utensils or drugs are then admit on there recorder the offence... they pick them up and leave.
I go to court for 15 minutes, get a $300 fine and a conviction... life goes on.

Most cops are pretty down to earth. If you show respect and don't be an asshole to them, they'll usually repay the courtesy and even let you get away with things occasionally.

i agree most are straight up just working to get paid. i have met a few assholes though. the I have authority so im going to abuse it types. they always get theres though. off duty their mouth always catches them trouble.

When they raid a simple house for simple marijuana smoker they bring 8 - 10 people, different teams enter by any means (windows, back doors etc) while the front group scares the shit out of you.
Can't beat them man, they usually raid me when I'm asleep (day raids are allowed to start really early, I swear I had one at 5:00am). By the time you wake up and walk to the bathroom, there will be a police officer looking in EVERY single window if they aren't already in your house.
I just let them in, give them my pot or bong... go to court and pay my $300.
It's no big deal.

Fucks me, I'm a bit suss when buying drugs (sometimes too often, like get an 1/8th everyday for a month off the same house).
Also I did use IV meth for quite a while which basically put me as a high priority on their "lets raid him" list, but since I quit I've still been raided plenty of times.
Also my brother (who is often around and often living with me) is a beacon for police with his 29 drug convictions.

lol probable cause Queensland Police have more power then the bloody patriot act, it's ridiculous.
Shit, the first time my house got search they didn't even have a search warrant.

No, they were allowed to... I can't exactly recall what they said now, but without a search warrant and without being invited in they stated some fancy law that allowed them to enter and do a "quick" (lol) search of the premises if they suspected there was drugs on it.
I went to court with it, what happened was stated in court and perfectly legal.
Yeah, MASSIVE power, MASSIVE... the other Australian states are a joke compared to this nazi camp (few are catching up though now).
