 Valerian root..

Yea so I just got some valerian root capsules. Contains 530 mg each, it says the serving size is 3 pills. But I look at the potency and it says 0.1% Valerenic acids. Then I look at the average potency of other brands and it says 0.8%. Did I get ripped, or was the other brands just an extract? What is the maximum dose I can safely take?

there once was a lady I worked with who was really into natural medicines and she gave me some valerium root pills once. they smelled nasty. I don't remember if they worked or not, I just remember they smelled horrid.

I actually enjoy the smell. Maybe my nose buds are wired differently than the norm?
