I am SO loving today, my boss is on vacation in California, and there is not a DAMN bit of work for me to do here.
So i'm posting on the shroomery, which I wouldn't DREAM of doing on any other day.
The best part is I don't even feel guilty about not doing anything, b/c I finished all my work for the day in the 1st hour I was here!
here's to getting paid for nothing!

Thats how my old cubicle job was. I would finish everything in the first hour, then sit there reading through various news websites and getting on messenger services to try and kill time. It actually sucks balls. Especially when it was everyday. Plus they let me go home early whenever I wanted, so often times I would end up leaving because I was so fucking bored.

Yup. It is often like that here. I love it when I come in and there are a million things to do, because the day disappears before I know it.
Fortunately at some point this year I will either be promoted or laid off due to restructuring. So either way, things will get better

The best part is being able to stay home and do anything you want, because there's no one at the office at all.

i'm on my sisters laptop with wireless internet (fuck my battery is low and i forgot the plug!)
usually they have me designing AND two other things so im glad to do nothing.

Its a snowy fucking day right after Christmas. Hardly anyone is calling our office (I answer the phones) and things have generally been slow. I always seem to have some time to go on the Shroomery or Myspace however.
