fucking video slots. I started with $25, and won my way up to $170. Ended up betting it all away.

I did that doubling losses on the roulette wheel one time except it was a little over $1100.00 in winnings that I lost. The whole thing began and ended in about two hours. It was a fun way to blow $25.00. I couldn't cash out anyway because I had accepted a sign up bonus and didn't know at the time that roulette and black jack bets didn't count toward betting requirements.

The last time I was at a casino (Foxwoods) I won over $600 on Roulette and Blackjack within 30 minutes. In 2 hours I cashed in at $1100. I was on fucking FIRE.
Unfortunately my stay at the casino lasted 4 days. By the last day I was in the hole $400 with multiple ATM surcharges and I found myself cranking those quarter slot machines like a fucking monkey. 
Amphetamines and gambling DO NOT MIX.

wtf is the point of gambling on games like slots/roulette? it's all about odds.
learn to play poker, put that money to good use

There are certain people out there that don't have the attention span to learn poker, hence the amphetamines.

Poker aside. For roulette that is the point. That and black jack have the closest to 50/50 odds. I don't gamble to make money. I do it for the thrill. Doubling your bet with each loss can quickly either bust you or get you into some big bets with won money. It makes for a thrill when you've lost the last 8 games in a row and doubled your bet with each loss starting with $1.00 initial bet. The odds are definitely in your favor since you have just lost 8 games that had a 50/50 chance each. The bet is up to $128.00. The odss are still really no better than 50/50 because the last 8 games really don't have anything to do with it but you just know it has to be your turn to win.
What can I say. I don't gamble often and like to get a thrill from it when I do.
Poker is cool and is more of a game to be PLAYED. That's more for hanging with friends to me though.

be smart about your money - don't play slots, and don't play table games [other than blackjack - that has the best odds in most casinos] - play poker or craps, use your head
