 What's RIGHT with the Shroomery!

I have to say that when I 1st started posting I got dissed by some beer-swigging, public-crotch-scratching boors for my opinion about bigotry against women, African Americans, and gays and I stayed away for a while...unsure if i should continue...wanting to avoid the negs from others...but now I think I can see it for what it is and rise above it...most of the time....it's hard not to SHOUT back at them...lol
It sure helps me appreciate my guy for being the kind gentle fun interesting creative guy he is even if he forgets stuff sometimes like paying the long distance bill ooops!
Reading that a number of posters have been diagnosed as anti-social, bi-polar, schizophrenic etc. makes me appreciate how my ADD makes me gregarious and can be kept in check with a low dose of 10 mg. of adaral. 10 mgs so far. hope I don't need to keep escalating the dose...but time will be the only tell on that.
Adaral has helped me communicate my ideas opinions, encouragements more effectively and the Shroomery has been a conduit through which I am able to see myself from another viewpoint and see the opinion of others in a broader light. Being a 'broad' helps I guess..lol I hope you get that since no one uses that term anymore, now it's just chick, chick-flicks, chick-lit (Literature) et all.
I must say the couple of trips on mushrooms themselves helped with all this enlightenment too....a lot...it's just more focued now  Thanks to the knowledgeable patient cultivation post guys for that!!! (I got them from afoaf who grew them with Shroomery advice).

I love it here too! And yes I have gotten flack for standing up for women as well. Just got a 0 shroom rating the other day as a matter of fact. Won't let it run me off though.
Yes there are some jerks here but I have met some nice, intelligent, interesting people too. Kind of like real life but it's easier to ignore them here. Just click! and it's like they were never there.
GO SHROOMERY!!! 
The part I don't get is it's a big world out there. If people don't like it here why don't they just move on?

When I started hear in 97/98 under another name. There wasn't very much going on hear.I mean you could be gone a week and there wasn't any new post. Ten years later, I like it this way.

Yeah, it is definantly much more active these days.
Besides giving my FOAF a great source for information it also is a great place to meet chilled out people.
I always enjoy my nice bowl then some music and shroomery on my computer.

Yeah this site rocks, and honestly I really don't like internet communities like MySpace, ect. But this one is different. Special. More down to earth and less concerned about highschool semantics.

Like...totally..I like can't STAND high school semantics...
with the exception of...EEEEWWWW! It really hits the spot sometimes like when I read posts about porn...EEEEWWWW! Home grown is much better quality anyway! lol.
I got pm's telling me NOT to leave cuz this site needs more elite chicks like me...I, 44 turned to my husband who also frequents this site and said: "Hey look...I'm an elite chick!". AWWWW  
I had a post I felt was significant and didn't want it relegated to page 8 (as opposed to 8 pages) so I asked my husband to post to it and bring it back up and he did! Ha...I have friends in Shroom places.
