He was complex. And in the last few years of his life he was a stone junkie, and apparently a bit of an asshole.
There are some interesting books about him but I don't think any of them do him justice. Listen to the way he plays and sings though and you can tell he had a warm soul.

Yeah, if he was strung out on some addictive drug, then anything is possible. I think you have to judge a man over the entirety of his life, not just the end...

he was a pretty irresponsible person
i know ive read interviews with his kids who said he wasnt much of a father
he didnt really ever womanize
didnt really like his fame
alienated some people with a heavy heroin habit
alway heard he was just nice and jolly though...unless you ask is neglected kids

He knew that weazer's song Beverly Hills is not better then Led Zeppelin's entire discography. Isn't that enough????

Thats true, I think it was Phil Lesh, From what Ive read about him he was pretty cool,he was a junkie witch makes everyone mean in a way.
