the new king crimson album came out  It's pretty awesome too.
This song made me laugh my ass of when i heard it. It's done kind in a metalish sort of way, with the king crimson charm of course  I just recently found out it's a kind of like a satire about all the boring ass unoriginal nu metal that's so popular right now. heh
You all should download it, it's funny as hell.
and when i have some words, this is the way i'll sing
through my distortion box, to make it more fuzzy

there is good nu metal out there... take deftones for instance... but yeah, i agree that its getting out of hand... but well
one thing i dont understand, tho... if its supposed to be a satire on nu metal, why does it have a solo? i dont know one single nu metal song that has a guitar solo...

well it makes more sense if you hear the solo...it's not like a wailin ass guitar solo or anything it's a simple 15 second odd sounding single note progression that stands out from the song. Most nu metal bands do this. It's not really a solo it's more like a little lick they play in the middle that stands out a little...at the same time though, even if it isnt really a solo, it's still called "the solo"
btw i wouldnt really consider deftones nu metal...it might sound like that with their newer shit, but adrenaline was pure aggresive hardcore...and back then when that came out the sound they had was still original.

Most nu-metal thoroughly annoys me but the new Disturbed album has some decent tracks. Anybody agree?
