going green and saving cash, my soon to be greener house

so recently i purchased a house out in the hills. a nice little city/rural area.
anyways, this house i have seems to be heavily reliant on my paying large amounts of money to electric and gas companies in order for it to be livable for me. so to fight the rising and large costs of Natural Gas, and electricity, i have come up with a few expieremental solutions to my problems.
basically, it involves running my house off of good ol' used vegetable oil, and fallen trees with the following equipment
1 3000kw military diesel generator 1 75000 watt industrial generator 1 heating oil furnace 1 wood burning stove.
basically, what this will allow me to do is a few different things
electrically, I will be able to produce my own power, and thanks to state wide net metering laws, i will actually get electrical credits for any extra power i produce! meaning that should my generators go out, i can still use grid power on the credit i have built up.
also, the electric generator (the big one) uses a radiator to cool itself, with the extension of some radiator hoses, i can put this radiator inside of my home, actually heating the house quite a bit!
The heating oil furnace can also be converted to run on used vegetable oil with a new nozzle (roughly $150) this will allow additional heating of the house if the radiator heat is not sufficient, or non existant if the generator is off.
Finally, the old school wood burning stove. This will allow me to heat my house (or garage depending on where i put it) with fallen wood from my many trees, and also wood that i scavenge from around town. furthermore, this stove will be excellent for burning off the excess non refinable vegetable which is a bi product of the vegetable oil filtering process, and otherwise a pain in the ass.
so there you have it, the grand plan for my house. as of now i expect the total equipment cost to be under $2000 with another $500 for maintenance and installation. which should pay for itself well before the winter is over!

Your neighbors are going to love military and industrial generators humming along at all hours of the day.

i only have one actual neighbor, and i can shield the sound from them, plus the military gen wont get used all that often, more of a backup than anything.

i mean theoretically it sounds possible...but I suppose the only way to find out is actually give it a whirl.

i think your total equipment cost is a little low brother, the wood burning stove (depending on quality) is actually a very pricey piece of equipment not to mention the pipes for them are crazy expensive, i think my parents paid like $300-400 just for their pipe setup and they also bought a blower with it (a must imo, it actually heats our whole house in the winter, about 1800 sq ft).
sounds like a good idea, i can see where your coming from with the electrical credits, but things like solar panels and wind mills are probably a little more efficient ways of getting electricity in terms of going green.
the oil burning stove is a great idea, esp. with the use of veggy oil. i really like that idea.
