Anyone ever accidentally take a shot of that stuff before decanting it?
I just found myself getting really drunk off it and it wasn't really that exciting of a drunk.
Hook it up with some Absinthe stories.

I bought some a few years ago, and we didn't like it mixed with the sugar and water, so we started taking shots.
That's called taking it "neat". It's pretty high proof, so we got a good buzz after 2 or 3 shots each. It was ok, but I had
a terrible headache the next day. Not really a whole lot different from just drinking strong alcohol, except the fact
that it tastes like shit and burns like hell.

Absinthe, for me, yields a very clear-headed drunkenness. I have all the raging self-confidence as when I'm regularly smashed, and yet simultaneously I have the mental faculties to do mathematics homework if I felt like it.
In Hungary, I visited a club where they served absinthe into a glass and capped it with another glass, lit the surface on fire, and then bid me to inhale the burning fumes with a straw before slamming the liquid down. Quality stuff.

Hah, that sounds like it would burn! I've never had absinthe though. Crazy shit from what I've heard.

Ordered some from the czech rebublic a few years ago.. all it did was make everybody puke their brains out. I had like 5 shots and it felt like I got hit by a truck, I wouldnt buy it again... tastes like ass haha.

I like it mixed with the sugar and water. I can't even smell it unmixed. Way to wicked of a drink.
It made me very clear headed but I drank way to much of it and it kinda ruined my night.
I will be getting more of it.

Yeah, I personally can't stand the taste. If only they had a drink that had the same effects but actually tasted good.

I just made a glass of it and did 1oz absinthe, 5oz ice water, 3 sugar cubes and it tastes really freaking good.
normally it is 3oz water and 1 sugar cube and i cant do that.
