Canada Fishing Trip (pics)
    #8600494 - 07/06/08 11:40 AM (3 months, 15 hours ago)

Me and my Old man and cousins and their old man decided to make the great trip to canada for a lil fishin.

So we drove 12 hours from Wisconsin to hit up their little secret spot that they discovered a few generations ago.

It's a cluster of lakes, but there is a third lake that is elevated on top of a hill (I know sounds crazy) and you'd never guess there was a lake up there.

We portaged our boat through the woods after crossing a lower lake, up the hill, and then enjoyed an epic day of northern fishing. I threw 38 inch northerns away all day..

Cause we had a stringer filled with 43 inchers =p

Pops said he's been waiting 19 years to take us.

I was catching northern with regular size northern in their stomachs.

I forget the weights, they weren't accurate anyway because they often times had a large, undigested fish in their stomach..lol
