'bout that time, again. Fucking had to go pick up my friend drunk a whole three hours after I picked him up (from work) and brought him home. 1/4 tank of gas and a lot more tired,I'm back home. Got the day off tomorrow so I'm hopefully going to French in some bellflower pipes on my truck. plot out some cutting and welding up on some rear bumper-ness.
What's Going on with you guys?

How much is gas where you're at? I think it went $4+ today, not sure though.
I just got done watching I'm Not There a minute ago. Now I'm continuing to sip on brews and listen to some Bob Dylan.

Honestly,i'm not even sure. I just pay up. I think it's around 3.80-3.90 depending on where you are. Certainly 4.00+ going towards the city.

I love driving. Now having to drive 45mins to get anywhere, knowing you will encounter horrid traffic at some point no matter what sucks. I'm looking into getting a new place up the way. Used to live up there, can skate to the bar,the store/s, and everything else, but my new job.

hey everyone, how you doing?
all this talk of gas has me interested. Everyone here complains ridiculous amounts about gas.
It's 1.34/litre
My tank is about 40-45 litres
So to fill it up with 40 litres costs $53 canadian dollars for me. 40 litres is 8.8 gallons I believe, so that would only be about $35 dollars for me.
Sounds like life is pretty good in the states when it comes to gas prices, yankee bitches!

Don't drive then. Ride a bus. Ride a bike. Walk.
If none of these options are available, then I completely understand.

Good evening everyone. Yeah, we're heading towards another depression with the way gas prices are staying higher than stoners. Had some wicked weather today. Tornado touched down about 3 miles from my house. Didn't see it, but sure did feel its fury.

I live in a somewhat rural b.c. town.
I would be like a solid 1 and a half-2 hour bike ride, and thats ripping, to get to work.
We have the most laughable transit system in the province, for a city our size.
Nope, not an option unfortunetely.

I understand that completely then. But I live in the inner city. There is no need for a car during the summer. I can understand the winter when it's all shitty out and what not, but the summer is bike time.
I don't have a car though so it's moot for me.

The thing about filling your car up is to only fill it about half way. If you top it off, it weighs the car down more, making the gas less efficient.

Almost exactly how it is here. There is just no other option. i Drive so much for daily life, i go through about 3+ full tanks of gas a week.

Yeah, when I go down to vancouver, I just wish it was like that where I live. I wouldn't own a car if I lived there.

Tonight sucks.
I put off a five page research paper for my History of Photography class... its due tomorrow at 2:00.
This is always my style.
I gave my digital SLR to my friends for a week and told them to take pictures in an "artistic style", knowing none of them was well versed in photography. I'm comparing the pictures they took to the spread of photography during the Enlightenment: what kind of pictures people take when a camera is dropped in their hand, comparing then and now sort of thing.
Right now I'm indulging in Monster energy drinks, beer, and cigarettes to give the ole creative process a little boost.
One page down, wish me luck

to me though, I'm as the thought that, if it isn't dramatic, I don't really bother.
Like I mean, is the time and nuasance of filling up more often(especially filling up in b.c. now...boy is it a nuasance. Pre pay, no matter what, and many gas stations don't have pay at the pump), worth the money saved?
If I'm going to save a half a tank of gas, so in my case about $25 bucks, a month, yet have to fill up twice as much, always catching myself on E...then it's not worth it unfortunetely.
