 Have you ever been killed in your dreams?

The last week I've had two extremely lengthy dreams which ended in me being shot in the chest. I don't know if I died or not, but as soon as the trigger was pulled, I instantly had a bright white flash and woke up EXTREMELY fast.
Has anyone had this happen to them?

No I havent had anything like that happen to me but, supposedly, if you die in your dreams, you die in your sleep.
I dont know if I actually believe this but that is what I have heard.
Seriously though, how would anyone know?

I have accepted death, in the process of drowning in a dream. I believe my spirit had started to exit my body, because I was still aware, but in a dark void.

i fell from the top of a building
and woke up right when i hit the ground
really scary shit
and 1 time sum fool was chasing me
and i stabbed him in the leg
and i could see all the meat coming out of his leg
it was totally real

I've had a dream where I was shot with a shotgun in like my diaphragm area and I could feel it burn and everything but I didn't die I just kept walkin around and I could look down and see thru my body. As my dream went on my shot wound got smaller. IDK it was weird.
I've had lots of dreams where I've killed ppl and I've even had dreams where my friends have killed one of my other friends. It's weird how emotions from ur dreams can stick with u when u wake up.

One time on a ski trip I got terribly ill with pneumonia. While dreaming I was laying on a table strapped down, a man with an ax came up and swung chopping my head off, it was all in third person and as he slammed the ax down the 'scene' repeated like three times (just the part of the ax falling). As this happened I sat straight up in bed and projectile vomited all over the bed and room.

I've also had a lot of dreams where I've fallen off a steep mountain pass while driving a car, or fallen off the edge of a building.
It's weird how as soon as you "die" in your dream, you wake up. There is nothing further. It just ends. Kinda like life I guess. I bet that makes all the religious nuts piss their pants.

I had a dream where I almost drowned and I was actually gasping for air in my sleep and stopped breathing. Who knows if my friend didn't wake me up I may have died  Or maybe I would have woke up eventually

I use to have a dream where I was riding a roller coaster and when I would go down the last drop the tracks would just go to the ground and rihgt as I was about to hit the ground I would wake up. Went on for months, but I never saw if I died or not. Although i'm not sacred of roller coasters.

ive only woke up fast...like snapped awake for no reason.... but not from a dream where something like that was happening...thats crazy shit.

Yeah I've died a few times in my dreams (that's a bit odd to say isn't it?). Each time I woke up and promptly went back to sleep.

its crazy when actually feel something physical when your dreaming, I've had a dream i was holding a poisonous fish and i could feel my hands burning, it hurt like fuck!

Have you actually died, or did you wake up the moment you died?
And you are right about feeling something physical while dreaming. I love the drug dreams. A few weeks ago I had a very long dream where I shot H and smoked crack with an old friend, neither of which I've done in real life.
The cool thing was that I actually felt extremely high in the dream. When I shot the D I felt extreme bliss and a warm feeling spread through my body. When I smoked rock I got this extremely intense buzzy feeling, like a balloon hitting a power line.
But it was weird cause every time I went to shoot, the syringe would disappear out of my hand.
Dreams are awesome.

I had a dream where I was being whipped with a strand of spaghetti in some cave and for some reason my eyes popped out and exploded. It looked a lot like in Indiana Jones/Lost Ark when that guys face melted.

most times i wake up when I'm dying not at the very instant.
reminds me, once i was dreaming in third person, i was lying in my bed but after a couple seconds, i would be launched out my bedroom into the hallway. i would wake up every time i hit the wall [fatally]. i fell back asleep and the same exact dream came again. and this happened about 5 times. but the physical sensation was so intense i would wake up with extremely jolted nerves, i tried staying awake cause the feeling was actually a very intense.

I smoked a candle in a dream and got a really cool high off of it 
And I've had lots of fall to my doom dreams, instant wakeups.

Yeah, I died in a dream...weird experience, that changed my life.
I posted about it briefly here.
I didn't really get to far into the detail of the whole experience as it was very personal, but it totally changed my outlook on death.
I've never heard of anyone else having a similar experience, but I'm sure there has to be someone out there that has.

yeah, was speading down this windy road and hit head on with a semi. started spinning rapidly up and out of my body, it felt really physical.. then woke up.
