 what drugs (if any) do you think should actually remain illegal?

I'm feeling a bit hypocritical after a discussion with a friend today. I brought up the utter disgust I have for the US regarding the MJ and pyschedelic laws here and it got me thinking about drugs like meth and heroin.
I all for responsible adults smoking MJ and experimenting with whatever they want as long as it doesn't put anyone in danger. Its are right as human beings. But, what about the drugs that cause addicts to steal and commit crimes just to get their next fix? I realized I'm not sure where I stand on certain drugs being illegal. As much as I want my freedom, I am thinking certain addictive, life ruining drugs should be illegal to "attempt" to keep irresponsible users from hitting rock bottom and "obtaining" the drugs via the last resort (theft and violence), which does happen often from addiction to harder drugs.
What drugs (if any) should remain illegal?

methamphetamine, cocaine, and PCP (off the top of my head im benzod out and dont feel like thinking much)
methheads and crackheads piss me the fuck off.

Meth, cocaine, heroin, pcp, all non-medical opiates, should remain illegal.
I don't really care which way marijuana goes. Legal or not it wont effect me.
Definitely re-research all synthetic psychedaelics and consider them for legalization, and IMMEDIATELY legalize natural ones.

In my opinion, all drugs should be legal and available to the public. I feel that the individual should have the right to choose for himself whether or not to use chemicals to alter his consciousness or destroy himself.

I'm with the "Legalize it all" bandwagon, but it should be put into effect over time. Like move ganja to shed. I and legalize them from I-V on a timetable depending on how we react to it.
I know a lot of idiots that'll go to the pharmacy and get a ki of H and OD that night. So drugs should be kinda faded into our culture before the real dangerous stuff gets legalized.

Well I'm not sure because part of me says that we should be able to decide what we what to do, but then again it being illegal may actually keep some ppl from doin it. Actually I take that back because the ppl who do it irresponsible already do it. So maybe it'd be better if it was legal then that way it's not hidden.

First, all naturally occurring drugs (MJ, shrooms, cacti....) should be instantly legal.
Second, all synthetic or synthesized drugs (cocaine, heroine, meth, LSD....) should be strongly regulated. Not illegal.

Firstly, there should have been a poll attached to this question. Secondly, all drugs should be legal. Period. The user's choice of particular action while on/to get these drugs, however, should be subject to the full force of the law.

i think anybody should have access to anything
unless they commit a crime then have that right revoked
or if they od the hospital can revoke their right as well

personal opinion (not EXTREMELY informed i regret to say)
cannabis undoubtedly should be legalized
other naturals decriminalized
meth, crack, heroin, pcp etc. i believe should remain illegal.
though i definitely see the strong points for complete legalization of everything I'm not sure legalizing things like heroin would be a detriment to society? idono. feel free to argue against that

OK, realistically, crack and heroin and meth should be legalized, only because the Government should not babysit it's citizens.
Hard drug users should have permits to use those drugs also, and if they can't prove they earn their money, or if they OD or go out in public high or beg for money, they go to jail, or prison whatever, and they have their permit revoked.

why should lsd be strongly regulated whereas shrooms should not? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
To answer the question, all of them. I believe there should be a system for increased penalties for committing crimes while under the influence too.

Actually methamphetamine and cocaine aren't synthetics. Methamphetamine is produced by a few species of accaia and cocaine is produce by the coca plant.
