 What the hell?

So I live next to this family in a duplex, and they have 2 school aged children.
Yesterday night they were watching a movie LOUD as FUCK until like 1:30 am. I went outside for a cigarette and could hear every word of dialect being BLASTED. They had no doors or windows open. I walked across the street and could STILL hear it and make out the conversations.
It's now a little after midnight, and they are fucking blasting a movie again.
What the hell?
Don't they have to be at work? Don't their kids go to school? What the fuck is wrong with people? I usually don't have a problem with them blasting music and shit during the day, cause I can too without anybody bitching, but seriously...what is up with this shit so late on weeknights?

our neighbors above us used to be loud as fuck at night during the week when i was trying to sleep for work the next day, so on friday and saturday nights when i didnt have shit to do but stay up all night waiting for my fiancee to get home from work, i would blast the radio, be as loud as i could and as often as possible to piss them off. they arent so loud anymore 
i guess they didnt like me vacuuming at 4-5 in the morning and etc.

Ya, I don't like to bitch, really, though. Plus it gives me carte blanche to be as loud as I want whenever.
Also, I have drugs in my house and live fairly close to a school. Staying on good terms with the neighbors is important.

I used to have loud rap at 4 am neighbors. lol Bad news for them was I ran a car stereo shop at the time. I took a bunch of old woofers and installed them in the doors of a junk fridge that I sealed and screwed down the doors of. I set it up facing their house and blasted tracks from Bass Mechanics at them for three days straight. He was a truck driver and needed sleep on his terms. Problem solved. lol
I've got a pic of that monster somewhere. I should dig it up and edit my wife out of it to post. lol That shit was a trip. lol
It had one 18 two 15's. two 12's, two 10's and a slew of horns.
He was slinging coke and not about to call the cops. lol It was my other neighbors that got me to call it off.

Saturday night at 2:30 AM some idiots across the street put their speakers up to their open window and started blasting "Stars and Stripes Forever" and other patriotic tunes while they smoked cigarettes and played with a soccer ball outside. I thought about calling the cops, but figured I would be a hypocrite for doing so. Instead I went to sleep with ear plugs in. 
That is pretty fucked up that their kids are staying up so late and such.

My neighbors did the same. I did knock, and to my surprise it was a white guy, supposedly running a rap label out of his apartment.
Pauly Shore movies so loud they shake the dishes tend to get things back to normal.(Not to mention the police are to lazy/busy to show up to noise complaints).

I live in a duplex also, Are you my neighbor dude?...Nah, my sisters and mom are always up late, noisy as fuck, T.V. turned up way beyond it should be, they play with the dog make him bark, for some reason they'll have every light on in the house, along with everyother electronic device....I don't get it?.... It's kinda funny (not really) because im a hella quite person....

When I found this house, I specifically set out to find a court where a bunch of old people live. Most of my neighbors have huge plots, so there's really only 8 houses or so on the street. Fuck that shit.
(Typically you need 2-3 noise complaints before the coppers do anything)

They just bought 2 cars, one of them a Cadillac. Within 2 weeks of their purchasing the second one some guy showed up at my house to turn off their water (the valve thing is in my side) because they hadn't paid the bill for a long time, and had gotten all kinds of warnings and shit. Let's not forget that their cars also have some fucking bumpin' stereos they like to blast while parked in the driveway.

yah everyday i hear someone bumping there system down the road, i mean it was fun to do that in highschool, and once in a while...but to do it every single day i don't know how anybody could sit in a car thumping that loud and not go crazy
