Preface: I am 23 years old, moved back into my dads house. I did a 2 year college program, graduated with honors into a trade which was just about to experience one of its biggest declines in Canada ever.
So since my layoff last september I have been working hard at getting into University. It seemed an unacheivable goal (I have yet to finish high school, Universities dont like that).
Today I got my letter of acceptance from University of Toronto, my first choice, to enter their first year Economics program with a promise to transfer into Commerce (my first choice) if I maintain certain marks. The hardest of which is a 67%.
I am so fucking stoked, I know that i'm not going to gradute until im 28,and that it will be a difficult 4 years but im ready. Bring it on!!
