ok so i work 30 hours a week right now and go to school full time. i make 8 an hour at a shitty place and its hard labor (warehouse/lumberyard).
my friend has set me up with a job opportunity starting at 14 an hour with great benefits, second shift 40 hours a week. i am thinking hard about it because i am easily managing 30 hours a week and full time school. i would go part time with this second shift job. this would help me become independant from my parents and move out while making some good money. ill prolly take 2-3 classes every semester til i graduate, and i think they got tuition reimbursement.
what would you do?

Yeah, I did for two years. Then I got tired of Liberal indoctrination and working retail so I joined the military.
5 years of fun!

I really couldn't tell but some people made themselves a good life by starting out working while studying. People who can live at home while studying can focus all their energy in their studies. But when you're happy with a working job to make your living and just finish school to conform your legal duty then why not... get yourself independent.
Remember: freedom = responsibility
Hey whatever... best of luck!

just try to do whatever you WANT to do NOW. if you're trying to finish college consider getting a masters after that.

If you are close to finishing school I say stick it out at home and finish. If it's really driving you nuts to stay there and you still have a couple of years go for it.
But none of us know your situation as well as you do. So how can we give great advice?
Whichever you choose, really make it a priority to finish college. You might regret it later if you don't.

Go for the new job!
You'll be independent and damn proud of yourself. Just push through school; it'll be over in a few years and you'll be in an awesome place. Sacrifice a bit of recreation time for a while; it'll be well worth it.

"My children," said an old man to his boys scared by a figure in the dark entry, "my children, you will never see any thing worse than yourselves." As in dreams, so in the scarcely less fluid events of the world, every man sees himself as colossal, without knowing that it is himself. The good, compared to the evil which he sees, is as his own good to his own evil.

the job is at molex, a electric connector factory. my friend said the job im applying for is easy and the people are cool.
basically box up the connectors popping out of the machine and take them to the warehouse.
