WASHINGTON (AP) -- A pet food company announced Monday a nationwide recall of dog, cat and ferret treats that could be contaminated with salmonella. The bacteria could infect both animals and people handling the food...WTF ??

Yeah I read that too. We don't give our dogs or ferrets any of their food luckily, but still - what the fuck is with all the contaminated pet food?!
