Damn! Residents of some Florida trailer park with 488 sites will decide if they will sell the 43 acre park for $500 million, splitting the money between themselves. That's a little over a mil for each lot! Insane!

why would you want to develop land that is sure to be hit by a hurricane?
or does that probability go down once the trailers are gone?

i dont know what it is, but people pay out the ass for land, i dont understand it, even land that cant be built on in the middle of the desert with no road access goes for atleast $300/acre
this is part of the reason i got into developing realestate

People are basically being forced out of their homes around here.. "Eminent Domain" .. I mean, these trailer folks are gonna make out nicely here...and it was a choice at least in this case
