 Strange text message from 1000000000

I got a text message that had the phone number as 1000000000, and then in the message there was a local phone number. I checked the listing on the number and its a few towns away. What do you think this means?

Heh, thats funney, i got the same message a few weeks ago. Text from 10000000 and just some local random number... i never looked into it though.

Dude, I heard about this on channel five news. Its a serial killer who goes around and taps ino local telephone companies and uses their system to send out a text message to a random person with the phone number of the person he is going to kill.
You have 48 hours to rescue the person that that number belongs to before he kills them.

that is how numeric pages show up. Somebody got your voicemail and left you their phone number. call them back.
