 so my dad used to play this game

with waitresses
He would tell them: "I'm thinking of a number, and that number is the dollar amount of your tip. I want you to guess it. If you guess too low, thats what you get. If you guess too high, you get nothing."
The funny thing is, no one ever guessed too high. They always guessed too low.
So if the waitress said: "$20,"
my dad would be like: "I was thinking much higher, but if $20 is what you say, then $20 it is. You girls always underrate yourselves."
Eventually, my Dad quit playing this game, because he said that it got too complicated. I guess too many cats got out of their bags.
But it was a funny game.

oh, he is 
but only on the outside. I know him pretty well, and he's really a good person in his heart. Screws up a lot, but at least he has good intentions.
me and my old man are alike in many ways. I like to think I'm a little better than him, but the truth is we are both equal but different.
my father gave my mother over a quarter mil that he didn't have to when they got divorced, he also put 2 girls that weren't his through college. I think he's earned the right to tease a few waitresses.

my father and I are both good tippers.
I always say, "Always, always, ALWAYS be nice to the people who serve you. You never know when it will be you serving them. Plus nobody likes spit in their food."

yeah, women don't play games like that. they hate power trips 
my dad and I both enjoy giving men AND women a taste of their own medicine.
Why am I the way I am? Because I respect women enough to let them do whatever they want. And I have faith that they will eventually want to come play with me.
doesn't mean I can't express my opinion about how they are using their freedom.

I think you're reading too much into what I said.
I don't like to persue girls because I feel like that's forcing my will on them. I figure, if they really want to be with me, they'll make a few moves on their own.
I'm not trying to cram myself down anyone's throat, and whenever I see a guy hitting on a girl, I find it distasteful. Its like watching someone hack into a computer.
I'd much rather let the computer decide. Only then will it learn to make better choices.

the problem is, I know that women like to be hit on, and many have considered me an asshole for not giving them what they want.
but hey, people don't always want what's best for themselves.
Its kind of one of those rock and a hard place situations.
I mean, you could walk up to a girl and hit on her, and you could get her phone number if she likes you. But if she doesn't like you, she might slap you in the face for being too forward.
On the other hand, you could play it cool and not say anything, and if the girl really wanted you to say something, she could end up thinking your a real asshole for not saying anything.
I guess the only way to know is to throw yourself out there and just be prepared to deal with any outcome. But its shitty that some women judge guys negatively just for trying (or not trying).
personally, I love it when women hit on ME. I have a lot of respect for that, it shows me they have balls and they can go after what they want.

this used to be somewhat true, but only because I went through a lot of bad experiences with women, specifically when hitting on them or trying to get them in the sack.
these days, I'm not really afraid of anything, and I pretty much consider myself invulnerable. Not necessarily in body, but most definitely in spirit.
