My best friend recently broke a nice bong. He called it "the Hurricane".
I recall he called me and asked me about cutting glass, and we wound up going to a hardware store and buying a glass cutter and some sandpaper. He hoped I could cut the broken tip off and sand it down to a smooth mouthpeice once again. Alas, the glass was too thick for the puny cutter.
So, him, me, and an acquaintance who probably hadn't been sober in a very long time headed down to the local headshop. There we encounter a variety of nice bongs, but one of them stuck out. The Zong!
 
The price was $75. The headshop owner agreed to let it go for $75 flat as opposed to adding tax to it.
It smokes like a fucking dream. None of us have honestly ever used a nicer bong.

Yeah, it was a bit of a pain to clean it up. rubbing alcohol and salt did the trick, but it took a lot more effort than usual.

i had one just like it once, it just had 2 bends though. i used to drop a crystal down into them... one day it broke : (
