Hobbies are awesome

A couple days ago I decided that I needed a new hobby. I saw a mushroom on the ground... and I have a tendency to be impulsive. A couple internet searches later, and now I should be start the process in about a week. In the meantime, I'm pretty anxious, you should be seeing a lot more of me.
I wonder if my university has a mycology major. If they do, I wonder why I'm not in it...
By the way, anyone here from SoCal?

Mushrooms are facinating, arent they.
Even as a little kid I've loved them.
Glad to have you aboard.

If you want an active species Psilocybe cubensis is the easiest to cultivate. If gourmets more your thing you can't get easier than Oysters (Pleurotus species).

Welcome. A cool strain to study is cambodians, or PESA. They are my favorite. The cambodians cluster in little funny looking families. You should peruse the cultivation forums. Good luck.

Hello, welcome.. That's an interesting thought. Sounds similar to me, only many years ago.... I picked some for the hell of it and ever since it's been my #1 hobby.
