 need some info from you guys

does anyone know how LEO spot outdoor pot grows from the sky via airplane or helicopter? is it just that people grow too much in one spot so it is easy to see or does pot reflect a certain light that they pick up on? i havent been about to find anything online saying what they look for from the air.

I think it is just easy to see from the air with alot of plants growing in rows.

usually they are big grows, and those need a lot of light so there in the open and very easy to see... or you parked your spot a little too close to the trails where passer byers can see and they tell the cops... if you only growing a couple plants, get a GPS system and put the plants all in different areas and you should be fine..

Yeah don't plant in rows.. be as abstract as nature
and supposedly herb is a much lighter green than most vegetation

Usually water lines... The water heats up a bit and if they're not deep enough or burried at all, the infra-red binoculars show a grid or spider patern after dusk.

if you have a few plants they wont see it, they only look for large plantations (from what i know).

cannabis is nature and blends in, of course, like others have mentioned, it depends on how they are set up, a large field in rows with whater channels and such can be spottet, but i dont think they can see that they are actually cannabis plants , it might as well be tomatoes.

well i have grown cannabis for nearly a decade now and i have seen the color varies from light green to dark green, especially a few sativa strains i have grown has been very green. But it is often more light green than dark, that is correct

I always thought people got busted growing weed because it is often done indoors and the utility bills are way higher than average.
Outdoors I can't imagine that they are that savvy, but what do I know.

i thought that the helicopters looked for the heat that is being let off by the plants and the only 2 plants that have the same heat signature is marijuana and rose bushes
thats what my dealer told me when he got busted for growing 25 marijuana plants outside. he had the patch well hidden and noone lived near him

thats just propaghanda used to scare us... you think they can tell a difference of .1 degree ferenhiet from all the way up in a helecopter???
they can use infrared to detect the heat of LIGHTS used to grow marijuana, but thats because lights get REALLY HOT!! dont believe me? go touch a light bulb thats been on for awhile...
the hole in your dealers story is that it was a PATCH of plants... patches are easy to see because they are obviously man made and who's gonna go out to the middle of nowhere to grow a LEGAL plant?? NO-ONE!!

A pot plantation sticks out like a sore thumb in aerial pics. They're a vibrant green color and are very noticable from the surrounding greenery.
